and I’m lucky enough to spend every day sharing my love of piano. My goal is for my students to develop a passion for playing, as well as a broad theoretical and technical foundation that will help them excel in any genre. Piano lessons don’t have to be boring, and practicing doesn’t have to be a battle. Just because Mozart lived in the 1700s doesn’t mean we still have to teach like it still is. I combine my classical background with modern tools that keep students excited to show up and learn. 

I earned my Bachelor of Arts at Lewis & Clark College, majoring in music, and focusing in Piano Performance and Music Education, and have a background that includes Classical, Jazz, Pop, Folk, Rock and Electronic music. I’ve been teaching piano professionally my whole life, and am proud to have helped so many students grow into passionate, creative young musicians.
